Drawing Session:: Drawing Under the Stars!

How lucky am I do take part in the first of series of drawing session put on my awesome Derek Wu and friends. We exchanged sketchbooks, watched Dave Bloomfield paint on loose pieces of canvas and enjoy bbq, beer and good times! I hope this continues!

This was one of the loose canvases Dave worked on. I love his face and I want to make this face to random people. Grrrr!

Cactus Cooler:: Commercial

Here is is, the commercial I worked on at the end of August. There is a 15 second and a 30 second spot now on a TV near you!

This is the 'behind the scenes' video along with brief interviews with the artists.

This was the first real TV experience I have had. It was fun, I really enjoyed working the the creators and of course Augie and Weirdo. This is awesome since it's a good heads up for the Bumbershoot installation I will have next month.

It airs here in the Northwest on all stations!
Or you can simply watch it here;

Thanks all for your support!

Loyalty Mural:: 2008

one-seven-nine, originally uploaded by ladyJake.
This mural was a commission for The Blue Scholars 'Loyalty' Video they filmed in 2008. This was a wonderful project where I had some amazing volunteers help me paint this on an infamously rainy Seattle Day.

Here is the link to the video;

Thank you Lady Jake for taking these photos, this mural is now gone, but not forgotten! I love Seattle when she is covered in snow!

ComicCon 2009

Hell yeah!!

This is awesome!
I love sketchbooks and book signings!

I do believe I did this at ComicCon 2009? This was the Pocket Full of Monster signing at the Munky King booth that year. Peeka Boos' face looks like Genghis. Silly.
This was such a fun experience, I am sad I missed it this past year.

Next year San Diego, I will be seeing YOU!
